The ESMO Public Policy Webinar series aims to provide timely information on important topics in European and global public health policy.
Policy regulates everything. It governs our social, political, and economic systems. For example, it regulates medical training requirements, how health systems run and the services they offer, which cancer medicines are available and reimbursed for patients, among other relevant issues.
To advocate for necessary changes in healthcare systems it is necessary to understand key policy issues and their impacts. Within its Public Policy Webinars, ESMO also offers a series of webinars ‘in 60 minutes’ in which stakeholders present key issues, participate in a panel discussion, and respond to participants’ questions within a timeframe of 60 minutes.
